EUHASS is a prospective European Haemophilia Safety Surveillance system.
56 large haemophilia centres from 27 European countries are taking part.
The following events are prospectively collected:
Allergic reactions
Transfusion transmitted infections
Thrombosis
Inhibitors
Malignancies
Deaths
Data is submitted anonymously
The project is funded jointly by the European Union (60%) and 9 pharmaceutical companies, which each contribute 4.5% of the cost but have no involvement in the design or execution of the project.
