Call for Applications: EAHAD von Willebrand Disease Working Group

The European Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders is inviting haemophilia specialists to apply for one (1) post on its von Willebrand Disease Working Group. The position is for a three-year term that would begin in February 2026. We welcome especially applications from young researchers (<35 years old) and allied health professionals.If you are interested in applying, please send a short letter of motivation (maximum 300 words) outlining why you wish to be a part of the Working Group.

Please also include in the letter the following information:

  • Full name
  • Haemophilia Treatment Centre you are affiliated with
  • Number of years working with people with haemophilia and allied bleeding disorders
  • Number of years being involved in von Willebrand Disease care

Please send your letter to Isidora.Laur.Vukovic@eahad.org no later than Friday, 21 November 2025.

It will be considered carefully by the EAHAD Executive Committee and current working group members to select the applicant whose profile and
motivations best fit with the working group’s current composition and geographic distribution.

Please note that in order to be considered for a place on the von Willebrand Disease
Working Group, you must:

  • be able to speak and read English at an intermediate or higher level
  • be affiliated with a Haemophilia Treatment Centre.
  • be an EAHAD member (more information here)
