ERIN Webinar on Bleeding Disorder of Unknown Cause (BDUC)

November 18 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Following our successful 2025 webinars, we invite the bleeding disorders community to join us for the third and final session of the year, dedicated to the important topic of Bleeding Disorder of Unknown Cause (BDUC).

People living with BDUC experience symptoms similar to other inherited bleeding disorders, such as excessive bruising, heavy menstrual bleeding, or prolonged bleeding after surgery, yet the specific cause remains unidentified through current testing.

Organised in collaboration between European Haemophilia Consortium (EHC) and EAHAD, a European multi-disciplinary association of healthcare professionals (HCPs) who provide care for individuals with haemophilia and other bleeding disorders, this session aims to open a conversation on this under-recognised condition and begin lifting the veil of “unknown” that surrounds it.

The online event will take place on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, at 18:00 CET (dial-in details will be sent to registered participants one day in advance).

Featured Speakers:
Dr Saskia Schols – Internist-Haematologist, Medical Specialist, Radboudumc, The Netherlands
Dr Alison Dugall – head of the Department of Child and Dental Public Health at TRINITY College Dublin and a Consultant/Professor in Special Care Dentistry at Dublin Dental University Dental Hospital, Ireland
Mary Flanagan
 – Patient Representative
Jennifer Curley – Patient Representative

The webinar will feature clinical insights, available data, patient experiences, and an open discussion to promote understanding and collaboration within the bleeding disorders community.

The session will be held in English, with Russian interpretation available.

Whether you are a clinician, patient, caregiver, or advocate, your participation will help shed light on this complex and often overlooked condition.
