Bleeding disorder of unknown cause (BDUC) and ultra-rare bleeding disorders remain some of the most complex challenges in haemostasis care. This e-learning module explores the clinical and laboratory diagnosis of BDUC, including the role of additional global laboratory tests and the ongoing challenge of missing diagnoses. The module also provides insight into ultra-rare bleeding disorders, with a dedicated focus on thrombomodulin variants and rare Factor V disorders such as Factor V East Texas and Amsterdam.
